Where and when will we pick you up?

Our pick up location is at the dock at the Shoreline Bar & Grill at Point Pleasant Resort on Saint Thomas, with the exception of our St John Full Day Sail that picks up at the National Park Dock in Cruz Bay on St John. Once you arrive to your pick up location, the crew will pick you up in a dingy and take you a short ride to Ciao Bella. Pick up times are 8:45 am for the Full Day Sails.

What if it rains or there is bad weather?

We do not cancel for rain. Here on the island, a typical rain storms passes quickly and we do our best to navigate around any weather. In the event of a major storm, we will make the call to reschedule or cancel the trip by 7 am the day of the reservation. Additionally, wind can sometimes create unsafe conditions so Ciao Bella monitors for any small craft advisories. Cancellations for wind advisories will be at the Captain’s discretion. As safety is our #1 priority, we will always err on the side of caution.

What should we bring or not bring?

We advise that you bring towels, Non-aerosol sunscreen (reef safe), a hat, cash, your camera, and a good attitude :) For our Pizza Pi and Lovango Cay Sails, please bring payment for lunch.

Passports are not necessary for sailing within the USVI.

What is included in the price?

The price includes the fee for the USCG licensed captain and crew, fuel surcharge, as well as both adult and children’s snorkeling gear, floats, and two paddle boards. All tours offer unlimited beverages including water, soda, beer, wine, and signature “island” cocktails. We provide a light breakfast, midday snack, and lunch for our Full Day sails.

What is standard “gratuity”? 

20% is customary for the Captain and Crew. Tipping in cash is greatly appreciated!

Is there a bathroom onboard?

Yes! Our beautiful catamaran offers an onboard bathroom for guests to use during their sail.

Are there different itineraries available than what is on the website? 

Yes, if you have specific areas of Saint John or Saint Thomas that you would like to sail to then we will do our best to accommodate your wants. Additionally, we are always happy to discuss customized packages! 

Can you accommodate for special occasions?

Of course! Just contact us for any special requests and we will work to make it happen. We’d love to have you celebrate with us on Ciao Bella!

We love the Ciao Bella Shirts and tumblers! Can we purchase them?

Absolutely! We sell our tank tops and crew neck shirts for $30 and our long sleeve rash guards for $45. Our RTIC tumblers sell for $40.

What’s the cancellation policy? 

Cancellations prior to 7 days will be refunded in full.  Cancellations prior to 48 hours will be refunded 50%. Cancellations within 48 hours will not be refunded.
